Life never goes easy on anyone. It try's bringing everyone down brings. There are some who accept the way life takes them while the rest fight, fall and rise.

     Here is a list of 8 very famous personalities who had faced a lot of hardship and failure in their lives but overcame all and came out with flying colors. So lets have a look.


1. JIM CARREYJim Carrey has given us some of the highest grossing comedies of all times ,such as, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber and Ace Venture. But a very few people know about his struggle. He was born in a lower-income family, with a father who struggled to keep his job. At a time his family became so poor that they restored to live in a van. Jim had to drop out of High school and worked as a janitor just to help support the family.


     On his first comic stand-up in Toronto, he was booed off-stage.However we all know about Carrey's later success. 

2. ALBERT EINSTEIN- Einstein did not speak until he was four and did not read until he was seven, causing his teachers and parents to think he was mentally handicapped, slow and anti-social. Eventually, he was expelled from school and was refused admittance to the Zurich Polytechnic School.



       It might have taken him a bit longer, but most people would agree that he caught on pretty well in the end, winning the Nobel Prize and changing the face of modern physics.

3. WALT DISNEYToday Disney rakes in billions from merchandise, movies and theme parks around the world, but Walt Disney himself had a bit of a rough start.  Disney was fired by the editor in 1919 from his job at the Kansas City Star paper because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.”



     Disney’s first go at business landed in bankruptcy when he acquired an animation studio by the name of Laugh-O-Gram. The company was acquired because, at the time, Disney’s cartoon creations had gained popularity in the Kansas City area. But, when he hired on salaried employees, he was unable to manage money and the business wound up heavily in debt. Subsequently, he filed for bankruptcy and moved to Hollywood, California.But the early failures did not stopped him from moving forward.

4. BILL GATES-  Known today to be one of the wealthiest men in the world, Gate has also gone through tough times in life. 



    He dropped out of Harvard University. Although his first business plan was a failure, his second business plan was a success, creating a global empire that is Microsoft.

5. THOMAS EDITION - In the early years, Thomas was told by his teachers that he is "too stupid to learn anything". He was no better at work, and was fired from his first two jobs for not being productive enough.



  At the time of inventing the electric bulb, he failed for about a 1000 times before being successful.

6. ROBERT DOWNEY JR. - Best know for his role as IRON MAN, he faced various kind of drug addition at the of 9. In 1996, he ran into complications with law. He also had to go to prison. 



   In 2002, Robert took his responsibility and broke up with drugs and started focusing on his  career. His hard work led him to the place where he is today.

7. MICHAEL JORDAN- It's not easy to believe that a man often lauded as the best basketball player would have been cut of his high school basketball team.



       Micheal Jordan stated “I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
